The Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA) is pleased to welcome five new companies to its membership ranks. Sunward Steel Buildings joins as a Building Systems member, and four new Associate members include: RunToSolve LLC, Pacific Insulated Panel LLC, Simpson Strong-Tie Company and Building Envelope Consultants Ltd.

Sunward Steel Buildings is a metal building manufacturer based in Denver, Colorado, that is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2022. RunToSolve is an engineering modeling and simulation company located in Towson, Maryland. Pacific Insulated Panel is based in Sultan, Washington, and provides rigid insulation for metal building systems and other applications in commercial construction. Simpson Strong-Tie Company, headquartered in Pleasanton, California, is a global supplier of structural building products. Building Envelope Consultants specializes in the design, inspection and testing of all elements of the building envelope from its offices in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

“For over 65 years, MBMA has been the leader in the metal building systems industry,” says Tony Bouquot, MBMA general manager. “The past two years have shown that our role is more important than ever. It’s great to welcome these five new members, which are helping to put the association in an even stronger position as we guide the industry forward.”

MBMA serves as the voice of the metal building systems industry and has two membership categories: Building Systems members, made up of metal building systems manufacturers; and Associate members, which include metal building systems suppliers, architecture and engineering firms, and related service providers. MBMA’s Building Systems members are the heart of the metal building systems industry, producing approximately 28,000 buildings every year. Associate members help shape MBMA’s direction and activities through such affiliations as the Associate Member Advisory Council and participation in MBMA’s standing committees.

MBMA members work with industry professionals, architects and building designers, educators, building code officials and others to advance the metal building systems industry. The work of member volunteers and association staff regularly leads to industry improvements and groundbreaking research.
