The Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA) just released the fifth video in its “Travels with Tony” series. This 2.5-minute video follows Tony Bouquot, MBMA general manager, as he visits the USA BMX headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Two metal building systems are home to USA BMX, its hall of fame and museum, and the Hardesty National BMX Track. The video is available on MBMA’s YouTube channel, @MBMAMedia.

“Metal building systems have a high degree of flexibility and versatility,” notes Tony Bouquot, MBMA general manager, “and the USA BMX headquarters and track showcase just how adaptable these buildings can be. I am constantly amazed at what our MBMA members produce.”

The latest video in the series documents Tony’s visit to the home of BMX in the United States. The facility includes a 25,000 square-foot, two-story metal building that houses the organization’s headquarters and hall of fame/national museum, as well as the 125,000 square-foot arena that has a full-length BMX course and 6,000 spectator seats. “Metal building systems were the go-to choice for this center,” notes Bouquot, “as they provided the flexibility the organization desired in the headquarters and museum areas as well as the unobstructed clear-span for the track. It’s a great place to visit and to ride in!”

“Travels With Tony” also visited Tulsa in the recently released, “Hardesty Center for Dance Education” video, which showed off the Tulsa Ballet’s home. Previous videos in this series include a visit to Starshine Texas, an events facility in Houston, Texas; a look at Bay Manufacturing’s headquarters and manufacturing buildings in Green Bay, Wisconsin; and a short visit to a metal building manufacturer in New Zealand.
